Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026 • Governing Merge PDF: Combine & Split (Package: net.qavixor.mergepdf.app)

Core Privacy Commitment: Zero File Collection

Merge PDF: Combine & Split operates on a strict zero-upload architecture. All file operations (merging, splitting, encryption, signatures, watermarks, compression) are executed 100% on your local Android device. Your PDF files and document contents are never transmitted to our servers or accessible by third parties.

1. Overview & Publisher Information

This Privacy Policy explains how Qavixor ("we", "us", or "our") handles user information in relation to the mobile application Merge PDF: Combine & Split (the "App") distributed on the Google Play Store.

We are committed to full compliance with the Google Play Developer Policy, including the Google Play Data Safety requirements, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. No Account Registration Required

Merge PDF is designed for instant accessibility and privacy. Users do not need to register, create an account, or provide personal login credentials (such as name, email address, password, or phone number) to access the application or its PDF utility tools.

3. Local On-Device File Processing

All PDF manipulations take place strictly in the local sandboxed memory of your Android device:

  • Zero Cloud Uploads: No document contents, images, signatures, or extracted pages are sent over the internet.
  • Ephemeral Memory Handling: Once a document is closed, cleared from the workbench, or exported, intermediate memory buffers are immediately purged.
  • Document Security: When you lock or encrypt a PDF using our AES-256 tool, the password is applied locally. We cannot view, intercept, or recover your document passwords.

4. Data We Collect & How It Is Used (Google Play Data Safety)

The App collects only minimal, non-personal diagnostic and operational telemetry necessary for stability and subscription verification:

  • Anonymous Device Identifier: A randomly generated GUID created during installation to sync subscription status, active Pro entitlements, and dynamic tool configuration via Firebase Firestore. This identifier is not linked to your personal real-world identity.
  • Crash Logs & Performance Metrics: Anonymous crash traces, device OS version, and performance diagnostics collected via Google Firebase Crashlytics to detect software bugs and improve app stability.
  • In-App Purchase Data: Purchase tokens and subscription state managed securely through the Google Play Billing API. We receive verification tokens to activate Pro features; we do not collect, store, or process credit card numbers or financial account details.

5. Third-Party SDKs & Services

We integrate trusted third-party SDKs that operate in accordance with Google Play Developer Policies:

  • Google Play Billing (Google LLC): Handles secure processing of in-app subscriptions and purchases. (Google Privacy Policy)
  • Google Mobile Ads / AdMob (Google LLC): Serves contextual or personalized banner and interstitial ads to free-tier users. (Google Ads Policy)
  • Google Firebase (Google LLC): Provides real-time configuration sync and crash diagnostics.

6. Device Permissions

To provide file manipulation features, the App requests standard Android runtime permissions:

  • Storage / Media Files (Scoped Storage): Required solely to open user-selected PDF documents from device storage and save newly generated PDFs to your Downloads or documents folder.

7. Account & Data Deletion Policy (Google Play Policy Compliance)

In accordance with Google Play's User Data Deletion Policy, we provide transparent and straightforward methods for users to delete their data:

A. Immediate Local Data Deletion (On-Device)

Because your documents and application state are stored locally on your device, you can delete 100% of your local data at any time without submitting a request:

  • Go to your device Settings ➔ Apps ➔ Merge PDF ➔ Storage & Cache ➔ Tap "Clear Data" / "Clear Storage". This immediately purges all locally stored preferences and temporary files.
  • Uninstalling the App from your device automatically purges the application's sandboxed storage.

B. Remote Diagnostics & Telemetry Deletion Portal

If you have previously contacted our support team or wish to have any associated Firebase device identifier records or customer support correspondence permanently deleted from our records, you can submit a deletion request through our web portal:

Go to Data Deletion Request Portal ➔

Retention & Timeline: Deletion requests submitted via our portal or via email to support@qavixor.net are processed and permanently purged within 48 business hours.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If we discover that personal data from a child has been submitted to our support channels, we will take immediate steps to delete that information.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in Google Play Developer Policies, applicable laws, or app enhancements. The latest version will always be published at https://mergepdf.qavixor.net/privacy with an updated revision date.
